The Durban Winter Warmup Speedcubing Competition July 2022!
Our WCA Winter Warm-Up is happening on the 30th and 31st of July 2022! (And it is MASK FREE - Whoop Whoop!)
We are hosting all your favourite events this winter:
Need-for-speed 2 X 2; Original 3 X 3; Charging 4 X 4; Sizzling Skewb; Squick Squan; Pirate Pyraminx; Mighty Megaminx; See-in-the-dark Multi-Blind; 3 X 3 One-Handed OH :)!
CubeCo is also hosting some of SAs cubing stars ---> our own Chase Roodt (former Pyraminx national champ and record holder), Duncan Hobbs (Multi Blind guru and One Handed wiz); Heinrich de Lange (Megaminx Mighty Man)... Plus you!
So, no matter what age or skill level you are, whether you are young or old, or whether you take 10 seconds or 2 minutes to solve the cube there is a competitor spot reserved for you. All our participants will also have the chance to help out, be it as a judge, running cubes to other competitors, helping the delegates, and learning about good team work.
There will be prizes for every event, so get your cube on!
If you pre-order your ticket you will pay R275 for the 2 days!* All spectators watch free. CubeCo will have cubes and accesories for sale on the day. HACT NPO will brew some coffee at the event too.

7:45 - 9:00 = 3x3 Multi Blindfolded (For all Multi Blind competitors that have pre-registered.)
8:45 - 9:15 = Registration (For all other competitors.)
9:15 - 9:30 = Tutorial for New Competitors (Hosted by Duncan Hobbs)
9:30 - 11:00 = 4x4 Round 1
11:00 - 11:45 = Skewb Finals
11:45 - 12:45 = Pyraminx Round 1
12:45 - 13:15 = Lunch Break
13:15 - 14:30 = Megaminx Finals
14:30 - 15:30 = Square-1 Finals
15:30 - 16:00 = Pyraminx Finals
16:00 - 16:40 = 4x4 Finals
16:45 - 17:10 = Awards
Sunday (31st of July 2022):
